If you didn’t lose power in recent storms, consider yourself lucky! More than 160,000 JCP&L customers were without power after recent storm Riley. At Governor Phil Murphy’s urging, the Board of Public Utilities will conduct an investigation of recent storm responses and has announced that it will hold at least 5 public hearings.

The citizens group CHARGE (Consumers Helping Affect Regulation of Gas and Electric) started a petition asking utility companies to FIX the system.
