Jan. 22, 2021 – The Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is holding a virtual public hearing on customer power outage experiences from Tropical Storm Isaias on Jan. 29th from 10 AM to 1 PM.
At the October 2020 public hearing by NJ State Senate Law and Public Safety Committee, BPU President Fiordaliso commented that he thought the efforts by the utility companies were “reasonable” despite testimonies at the same hearing by four Mayors that the communications and responses by JCP&L were poor.
If you experienced a power outage from Tropical Storm Isaias, here’s a great opportunity for you to speak up and to share your experience directly with the Commissioners of the BPU. Anyone interested in speaking at the virtual meeting but you must register by 5 PM on Jan. 22nd at the link below:
